Secular Bible Study

SecularBible-1     What if you held a Bible study for people who don't believe in the Bible?  Would anybody show up?
Trinity United Methodist Church in Minneapolis did just that, and attracted an even bigger crowd than expected.  Partnering with the Minnesota Atheists, the church organized a Bible study class for people who may not believe in the Bible but want to know more.  They held their first class on Tuesday night at a local cafe.  Called Secular Bible Study, the program aims to "foster and nurture relationships between folks who would otherwise avoid each other," according to Chester O'Gorman, the church's community outreach director.  Read more here.  And watch the Reporter for expanded coverage soon.
